Caregivers Kansas City

Welcome to the Caregivers site for Kansas City!

Our vision for this web presence is to respond to the often heard lament of a caregiver, “I just don’t know where to start!”  We have tried to create a doorway into the Kansas City world of caregiving.

Research tells us that 75%-80% of all caregiver support to older adults is provided by family members and friends.  We are entering into a period of time that we have never before experienced:  people are living longer and the Baby Boomers are among them.  Coupling those two well-known phenomena tells us that change and challenge is forthcoming.   Family and friends will have even more work to do!  We want to be of service to care givers and care recipients.

Thank you for all the care you provide to those whom you love.
